Felice DuBois

Felice DuBois is a global soul and truth-seeker whose life journey has spanned continents, cultures, and extraordinary inner transformations. As the expatriate wife of an international executive, Felice spent decades living across the world, giving birth to one of her four children while overseas and raising her young family in some of the most remote jungles on earth—including the Amazon rainforest of Brazil, the dense tropical forests of Kalimantan, Indonesia, and the lush interior of Guyana.

In just three and a half years, Felice brought four children into the world while navigating the complexities of international life. At age 48, she returned to the professional world and, within two years, launched a successful small business consulting firm. But everything changed with one unimaginable moment: the loss of her two daughters and their father—her former husband of 20 years—in the crash of Adam Air Flight 574.

Felice had lived her life as an atheist—rational, grounded, and skeptical of anything outside the material world. But in the aftermath of devastating loss, she slipped through the veil and directly encountered the Divine Presence. This life-altering experience shattered her worldview and became the foundation of her spiritual awakening and a new calling.

What followed was a complete reshaping of Felice’s identity and purpose. She closed her consulting practice, purchased a home in Bali, and built a thriving rental investment business to support a new calling. Driven by a fierce need to understand her mystical experiences, life, death, and what lies beyond, she became a impassioned spiritual seeker, traveling the world in search of answers to the existential questions that had cracked open her soul.

Through this journey, Felice taught herself to write—and to speak. Her debut memoir, ocean OVER sky: A Memoir of Grief & Grace  My Downside-Up Year of Traumatic Loss & Spiritual Awakening, chronicles her harrowing and transcendent path through trauma into divine integration of her soul and her body. She is now offers inspirational speaking to share her story and her message with audiences worldwide.

Felice was a featured speaker at the Global Possibilities Summit 2025, the International Association for Near Death Studies (IANDS) Conference, 2025 and will launch her book at the Ubud Writers & Readers Festival in 2026. She hopes to appear at The Compassionate Friends Conference and other grief and awakening-focused gatherings. With two additional manuscripts underway, she continues to write, speak, and mentor others who are stepping over the threshold of loss into the sacred journey of self.

Felice lives between Oregon and Bali and continues to travel internationally, fueled by a passionate mission: to help others discover that the path through loss and fear can also become the portal to the truest version of themselves.
